President of Iran, President Raisi, a puppet. (14 December 1960 – 19 May 2024), age 63, better known as Ebrahim Raisi, was an Iranian politician who served as the eighth president of Iran from 2021 until his death in a helicopter crash in 2024. He was a Twelver Shia Muslim jurist and part of the Principlist group.Pezeshkian, a chip off the old block like Raisi, no doubt; both okayed by the Ayatollah. trying to grow a beard like Raisi's, I see. He's only been president for a year and 5 months.
The Ayatollah is said to still be in Teheran but is preparing to flee to Moscow. No doubt he'd come back if Pezeshkin was still available.
Masoud Pezeshkian currently serves as the president of Iran, after being elected in the 2024 Iranian presidential election and being officially endorsed by the supreme leader. the Ayatollah. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is currently navigating major nationwide protests over severe economic issues and calls for political reform, while also dealing with regional tensions, including threats from Israel after a reported assassination attempt in mid-2025; he's publicly urging unity, promising dialogue, but also warning against "rioters," maintaining a balancing act between addressing public grievances and controlling unrest.
What with the Internet closed in Iran, we're depending on film taken by individuals who have beaten a path to our TV sets somehow, and what we see are streets at night full of bonfires for light and maybe for heat to eat some found food.
Thousands have been killed in Iran as the people attempt to topple the evil regime, and still no military response from the U.S. despite President Trump's warning to hit Iran very hard if it kills protestors. The world is watching how this plays out.
This time they have much to topple; a government who wastes all its money on giving it away to terrorists to fight for Allah, their concept of what G-d wants them to do; which means it's been going to terrorists such as al-Qaeda, Hamas, Houthis in Yemen, etc.
Shahab 3 missile is a family of liquid-fueled ballistic missiles developed by Iran, under the IRGC, and based upon the North Korean Nodong-1/A and Nodong-B missiles. The Shahab-3 family has a range of 1,000-2,000 kilometres (1,200 mi). It was tested from 1998 to 2003 and added to the military arsenal on 7 July 2003, with an official unveiling by Ayatollah Khamenei on July 20. It has an estimated accuracy of about 2,500m CEP. Up goes the Shahab 3, and where does it stop?According to the IAEA, Iran in the early 2000s may have explored various fuzing, arming and firing systems to make the Shahab-3 more capable of reliably delivering a nuclear warhead. (Where have they kept them all; so many models !)
The people's economy has gone into the trash can. No money, no food, no water with a dangerous water shortage that needs all their concern, so they have nothing but international continental missiles packed with nuclear war-heads...possibly...in their hide-outs. Or, perhaps, and we're hoping like everything, that Trump's air-force bombers hit them all and destroyed them; a hope needing verification so that we all can sleep comfortably.
Here's what al Jazeera reported on the 11th, today that happened:
- Nationwide demonstrations, the largest in Iran since a 2022-23 protest movement spurred by the death in police custody of Mahsa Amini, continued to take place across the country.
- The semiofficial Tasnim news agency reported that 109 security personnel have been killed in the protests.
- Opposition activists say the death toll is higher and includes hundreds of protesters.
- Al Jazeera could not independently verify either the government’s or the opposition figures.
- The Iranian government declared three days of national mourning for the “martyrs”, including members of the security forces, killed in the two weeks of protests, state television reported.
- Demonstrations took place in London, Paris, Berlin and Istanbul in support of protesters in Iran.
- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian pledged to address economic grievances, saying his government is “ready to listen to its people”, while accusing the US and Israel of trying to “sow chaos and disorder” by directing elements of the unrest.
