Israel doesn't just fight. She has an agenda to work on. Over 100 senior military representatives from nearly 20 countries came to Israel in a 5 day program hosted by the IDF, to learn from the IDF's recent experience during 2 years of war. The IDF recently hosted this five-day international seminar in November 2025, where over 100 military officials from 19 countries (not 20+) learned from Israel's combat experiences and tactics. The program involved lectures, a live war games exercise, and visits to military bases.
Topics covered included
1. Advances in the military use of data and AI,
2. The co-ordination of drones and artillery to protect advancing troops, and
3. How to increase the chances of injured soldiers surviving their wounds.
The countries represented included the United States, Canada, Germany, Finland, France, India, Greece, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Estonia, Japan, Morocco, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia. [Wait, didn't most of them say that the IDF was carrying out "genocide"?]
I get news from Israel: i24NEWS is a 24-hour news television channel created by journalists and reporters from Israel. It broadcasts in languages such as French, English, Hebrew, and Arabic.
I want to know if their main TV stations are running information telling the audience that Israel had done all they could to inform the enemy of the shelling following the warning. They do more than any other country has ever done.
Was the audience told that the Palestinians put their own people in harm's way by hiding behind them in schools, Temples, hospitals, homes, UN facilities, tunnels, etc, making it hard on Israel to fight back from people who were shooting at them without hitting civilian barricades. This war is unlike previous wars in that the enemy gets rewarded when they are killed and in their own heaven which is also supplied with 72 virgins awaiting them.
They look forward to dying in battle. Jews do not. Israel has done all they can and more to keep our Israelis alive. We have learned: to save a life is to save a world. Jews even take the wounded enemy into their hospitals. My junior high boys who were learning English were asked to help translate Arabic to Hebrew. Of course they were shocked at what they saw. They told me about it.
Our home-grown reporters have showed me that they are unaware of reasons why Israel is shooting at Palestinians. I hope they find the truth one of these days.
In Negev Desert, Sde Teiman, A Detention Camp. This is what all the hulla ba loo is about.After the deal, the number of Palestinians in 23 Israeli prisons and detention centres stood at more than 9,100.
There is an additional unspecified number of Gaza prisoners held in some army-run detention camps such as Sde Teiman in the Negev desert and Naftali Camp in northern Israel. Israel doesn't disclose more information about their numbers, whereabouts, and fate, according to Palestinian human rights groups.
Out of the 9,100, around 3,544 were administrative detainees, held without being sentenced, according to a source from the Palestinian Prisoners Society and reports by Palestinian rights groups. (heck, if they were in Gaza, they were probably Hamas terrorists. They were lucky to be brought here, and not shot at sight, like some countries would have done during a war. We just had an incident of a poor little Mexican cleaning lady who went to the wrong door for her job, and was shot dead. When people feel threatened, they are shooting before thinking, even in the USA. (A cleaning woman named Maria Florinda Rios Perez, 32, was shot and killed after mistakenly arriving at the wrong home for a job in Whitestown, Indiana, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Her husband, who was with her at the time, witnessed the shooting. ) Hamas's reputation is that of lying. They have lied about every detail; and have hidden in mosques, schools, hospitals, you name it, can't believe them. Why would they suddenly now tell the truth when a lie can get them out! Remember the story of the boy telling lies so many times about the wolf coming that the people didn't believe him when one did come?
“Tomer-Yerushalmi is first and foremost a wonderful lawyer, with experience and a rich background in all fields needed for the military advocate general. I am sure that she will carry out her work excellently, dealing with the complicated missions that are on the docket, including defending IDF soldiers, international law, and assisting the operational echelon in carrying out their work in accordance with the law,” Benny Gantz said in a statement." She was named "next top lawyer, 2nd female major general.
On 31 October 2025, Tomer-Yerushalmi resigned from her post after admitting she was responsible for leaking a classified surveillance video to the media. The video, which was broadcast by Israel's Channel 12 in August 2024, showed the sexual assault of a Palestinian detainee by Israeli soldiers at the Sde Teiman detention camp. The leak and the video generated significant political backlash. Oy, vah ah voy! This is terrible on the part of the IDF and terrible that she told a TV station about this terrible classified episode that should be immediately rectified and not broadcast to the world! People don't spread news around of their family problems. They usually keep them quiet while they deal with them.
It was not a part of policy, G-d forbid!!! It was a few soldiers who thought they were smart and needed to go to jail. This is not ISRAEL! What kind of soldiers would do such a thing, anyway! We have enough horrible lies going around and this is something we just don't need but need to put an end to; the act of the soldiers, that is. She should have followed it up immediately when she found out to make sure it got to the right people.
The video was first aired by Israel’s Channel 12 in August 2024, but it wasn’t the first report to raise concerns about conditions at the base. In May 2024, CNN spoke to three whistleblowers who detailed allegations of abuse at Sde Teiman. A month later, Israel said it would begin phasing out the facility. But that did little to dull the vitriol targeting the military’s top lawyer.
In her resignation letter, Tomer-Yerushalmi stated that she had approved the release of the material "in an attempt to counter false propaganda against the army's law enforcement authorities". She was referring to claims by right-wing political figures that reports of detainee abuse were fabricated.She emphasized the military's legal and ethical duty to investigate unlawful acts, even in war, and expressed regret that the principle that "there are actions which must never be taken even against the vilest of detainees" was no longer universally accepted. Her resignation came after a criminal probe was launched into the leak, and she was placed on leave.
Here's the problem: According to the Times of Israel, following the reports of abuse of detainees, on 25 May 2024, an unnamed female IDF soldier claimed women guards in Sde Teiman have been subjected to "some form of sexual harassment" from detainees, from allegedly blowing kisses their way and making suggestive remarks to spitting on the floor when they speak. According to Haaretz, citing testimony from Israeli guards at Sde Teiman, female guards made unfounded claims of sexual harassment resulting in torture, beatings and rape of detainees as punishment. Testimonies from Palestinian victims of sexual violence, rape, torture and genital mutilation also relate to female Israeli guards and soldiers engaging in such acts.
(According to what I see, detainees are accusing female guards of unfounded acts, and this is accusation was not substantiated. This means that what Yerushalami might have done was try her best to throw water on this and bring it to an end, unprofessionally, caught in protecting the female guards..)
Defense Minister Israel Katz welcomed Tomer-Yerushalmi's resignation, stating that anyone who spreads "blood libels against IDF troops is unfit to wear the army's uniform". Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quoted saying, that the publication of the video was "perhaps the most severe public relations attack that the state of Israel has experienced since its establishment"
On 2 November, the IDF stated that Tomer-Yerushalmi had gone missing. Search efforts focused on Hatzuk Beach in Tel Aviv. At the time, she was scheduled to be questioned as part of the criminal investigation into the leak. She was found alive at a beach in Herzliya after several hours, with police, military, and rescue forces participating in her search. She was arrested by police later that night, along with former IDF prosecutor Matan Solomesh. On 7 November, she was released to ten days of house arrest. Her missing phone was recovered by civilians on Hatzuk Beach and turned in to the police that same day.
The phone of former IDF Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi was found on the beach today, and it was still partially charged. Investigators will see what evidence they can find on it. These words jump out at me and give me heart pains. This man, who lived in Israel for a short while, just has no understanding of his people's history or what they have deserved for the past 2,000 years. Is he just reading books by Chomsky or what is it with him? Incidentally, President Trump was born June 14, 1946.

Let's talk about who deserves dignity and respect. All people do until they break laws and attack people, and that's exactly what the Palestinians have been doing to Israel since their declaration of statehood in 1948. Within minutes they were being attacked, and the English had left the Jews without arms. Israel has been attacked because of them and by them in The War of Independence, The Sinai War, The Six-Day War, The War of Attrition, The Yom Kippur War, the Lebanon War, etc, etc. with Iran now looming over their heads as well as Hamas and ISIS. Oh what a crazy neighborhood we have moved back into. It wasn't like we had left it when Jacob and his entourage of 70 of family members left in a famine and found refuge in Egypt. Well, this now-crazy neighborhood was home where they had been told was theirs to live in; Jews who found the rest of the world unwilling to put up with people who believed in one G-d only, but who did not proselytize their beliefs and force them on other people, either.

We even had a disagreement over the price of our main meal, served at about 1pm, and wound up in a Shveeta (strike). I broke it with my German shepherd when we took over the building's office. Israel has given to the world, not just to the USA. It has made advancements in the medical field, fighting cancer and other important killers; it goes to countries and teaches about protecting themselves from terrorists, and are leaders in so many fields. It is such a blessing to the world that this remnant of a once large empire has taken the lead in so many discoveries. Wherever earthquakes have happened, Israel is there to give aid. To slam this country is to slam our religion, for their moral compass is Judaism.
Speaking to J Street, the group trying to rub out AIPAC J Street prefers to tell Israel what to do from their Democratic USA couches while AIPAC (American-Israel Public Affairs Committee) the only organization for years speaking for Israel continues, thank goodness! J Street says their "stated aim is to promote American leadership to end the Arab–Israeli and Israeli–Palestinian conflicts peacefully and diplomatically." They are speaking for very liberal Democrats and their opinions, not that from Israel. They say they are Israel advocates, yet I have not seen proof. They are detractors, speaking for others, not Israel. George Soros is said to have been one of the founders. I wonder if Sanders has ever heard or read anything by Professor Eugene Kontorovich, the intellectual architect of US state laws regarding boycotts of Israel? Other Israeli positions? He advocates with undisputable facts.
One of the worst enemies we have are such people as this who have no use for their religion nor their own people and have cultivated friendships with its enemies. When a well-known person advertises dislike for Israel, whether they are right or wrong, brings on that same attitude of anti-Semitism by the sheep of the land, those that follow without thought or care.
You'd think that the Palestinian Gazans would have heard or at least felt the vibrations of the electric jackhammers drilling 20 feet below the surface in creating their tunnels leading out to Israel for attacks. Inside them were found thousands of weapons like Russian anti-tank missiles, explosive devices, tranquilizers, handcuffs, syringes and ropes. One can only imagine what they would be used for once a terrorist popped up in Israel. They were planning attacks for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur this year; September 24, 25, 26 and the 3rd and 4th of October. One remembers that Yom Kippur was the date of the October 6, 1973 war. This was whenhoping to win back territory lost to Israel during the third Arab-Israeli war, in 1967, Egyptian and Syrian forces launched a coordinated attack against Israel on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. This is our day of fasting for 25 hours, even to be without water, and ask G-d's forgiveness of our sins.
Some tunnels were deep enough to hold vehicles. They were reinforced with concrete made on site in workshops next to the tunnels. They were command centers, armories filled with weapons, rocket-launcher hiding sites and also acted as rooms to move and hid fighters during urban combat. The tunnels were dug in parallel pairs with many shafts to the surface for many entry points. In Gaza's center, the labyrinth allowed fighters to move unseen between homes and alleys. Areas of Gazan cities were laced with hundreds of booby-traps. Brigadier-General Mickey Edelstein, commander of the IDF Gaza Division, said that in a single street in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, the IDF found booby-traps in 19 out of 28 homes.
"On 1 August 2014, Hamas militants emerging from a tunnel attacked an Israeli patrol in Rafah killing 2 Israeli soldiers. Israel at first believed that the militants had abducted Lieutenant Hadar Goldinand were holding him, but Israel later determined that Goldin had also been killed." Three IDF soldiers entered a building marked as a UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. When they entered they were killed by an explosive device. Hamas's largest known military control center was in the basement of a hospital. IDF had to engage in very limited ground combat because the whole area was booby-trapped with explosives, ambushes and civilians that were used as targets by Hamas. The Palestinian terrorists planned these tunnels for years and wanted to use them to hold kidnapped IDF soldiers. said Brigadier-General Moti Almoz. Hamas wanted strategic blows more than psychological ones from just kidnapping, though. They were out for jihad.
Their budget spent 40% for war preparations. $10 million was spent on tunnels. 800 tons of concrete was used on them. Hamas worked with Iran in this. They worked towards a coordinated attack of about 15,000 Hamas terrorists trained in Gaza. From 2012, they have doubled their rocket arsenal. They had hundreds of missiles with the range to reach Jerusalem and Tel Aviv according to Brigadier-General Itai Brun. In March, they had bigger missiles on their way coming from Iran and sourced in Syria. Their ship was intercepted by the Israeli Navy special forces in the Red Sea. Now do people understand why ships have to be searched by Israel? A mass terror attack has been averted by Operation Protective Edge. Though about 2,000 Palestinians were killed in the Operation, they were all warned to get out of the way before the actual Israeli attacks. Due to their leadership, they died. It was not the plan of Israel to have this happen. One cannot begin to comprehend the extent of Hamas behavior. "The tunnels into Israel were constructed using the expertise of the Rafah families who have specialized in digging tunnels into Egypt for commerce and smuggling." Now tunnels have been discovered in Judea and Samaria. Some were stocked with bomb-making materials. when John Kerry suggested last week that Israel must agree to a ceasefire including the end of the operation to find and destroy tunnels, it seemed to be a preposterous idea. He was so far behind the known facts. Israeli author Amos Oz is a famous pacifist in Israel. Even he condemned Hamas for creating warfare in a civilian population of Gaza. Naftali Bennett is the leader of the Jewish Home party and Israel's Economy Minister. He said that "without the ground operation, we would have woken up one day to an Israeli 9/11." Thank goodness for miracles like Operation Protective Edge which allowed Israel to discover the workings of Hamas.
The Media is not helping the situation. They cover anything that smacks of finding fault with Israel, no matter what is going on. Since about 2,000 Palestinians died in the operation of which about 1,000 were Hamas people, Israel is blamed. Especially hard on Israel has been the death of so many children. People forget it was Hamas who made sure these Palestinians suffered death for this very reason, to blame Israel for attacking. The media forgets all this and just blames Israel for defending itself, making out that they were the aggressors just to be aggressive for no reason.

As a result, concrete and other construction materials were some of the main goods smuggled through the tunnels " Israel also seems to be the only country worth reporting about.. In people's minds, Jews can do no right, therefore anti-Semitism is running rampant. No one wants to bring to light the Muslims killing Muslims in Iraq and Syria. In Syria alone there have been 120,000 and 170,000 people killed including more than 11,000 children. The violence has gone into Iraq with massacres of prisoners by jihadis from IS. CNN finally showed a video of a long single line of Iraq soldiers who were prisoners of ISIS who were shot and killed, Nazi style, after the 50 days of war in Gaza. Sydney, Australia had chants of demonstrators waving the black flag of ISIS chanting, "Palestine is Muslim land...Jew and Christian will not stand...From Lakemba to Gaza...You can never stop Islam. Do those people realize that if one is not of the Salafist Muslims they can be killed? Imams in Iraq who were Sunnis have been killed by ISIS. The Iraqi soldiers were Sunnis. Stop Islam? Stop one group of Islam who are against all the rest. Evidently they want a caliphate with very few people in it to rule. They're killing just about everyone who crosses their paths. How do the terrorists know they aren't next?

Three teen-aged Jewish boys, Eyal Yifra 19, Gilad Shaar 16, and Naftali Fraenkel 16, were kidnapped, bound and shot dead by Hamas. Their bodies were found half-buried two weeks after they were kidnapped on Thursday, June 12th after school. Celebrations have been going on with Hamas over the kidnapping and people have been handing out candies in their joy. Palestinian TV is full of programs of hatred for Israelis and Hamas encourages the continued attacking should come from Fatah also. Evidently it did with this horrendous killing. The night before a barrage of rockets rained down on southern Israel from Hamas and continued into the next morning on June 29th and 30th. The rockets have been continuing.
At the same time, suddenly a Palestinian teen boy, Mohammed Abu Khdeir of east Jerusalem, was found dead and of course the Israelis were blamed for this. His body was found burned and hard to identify. The line was that it was done in retaliation and riots have been going on in a frenzy against Israelis in Jerusalem. More likely, the boy was killed by his own family in another of the honor killings in the Palestinian culture because rumor has it that he was a homosexual. His pictures showed a very thin-looking boy. I note that the Palestinians' rioting is accompanied with the exact description in their news of a "celebration by the Israelis over this." Hamas has congratulated the kidnapping. Is it not a wonder then that they were the instigators if not the culprits? I have seen nothing in the Israeli news of this, only the sorrow felt before with all of Israel praying in large groups for their safe return, the family's sorrow and the resolve to remain committed to Israel. Every time something happens, the Palestinian news always copies for themselves what they have caused in the Israelis. They try to turn the tide and make-believe that they are the victims instead of the aggressors. It's been in Judaism since the Exodus of Moses and the Israelites that we are not to be happy when the enemy dies, as they are also children of G-d. I cannot picture any of our IDF cheering over the death of this boy. Immediately they would know the complication that would be caused from such an event, too. No, this is all hear-say to instigate the Palestinians to riot.
In March 2014 between the 12th and 14th, 60 rockets fell. This was before, during and after Purim.
Today, June 27, 2014: A total of 6 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, with the remaining 4 landing in open territory.
Update: 6/28: In center of Gaza were underground rocket launchers, Israel hit them, retaliation from Hamas of 5 to 6 rockets hitting Sderot, causing fire in industrial section.

Update: 6/31 More than a dozen rockets fired from Gaza Strip slammed into Israel early Monday morning , following violent days in the south which have seen a rocket hit an Israeli factory and IDF retaliatory attacks kill at least one. A factory in Sderot was hit and a man in it injured.

In the late night Gaza terrorists fired a rocket at Israel. The rocket landed in the open field in the Eshkol Regional Council. No injuries or damage are reported. In the morning 4 more rockets were fired. One fell in an open area in Sdot Negev. Another caused damage to several vehicles in the Eshkol Regional Council. A third rocket exploded in the area Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. No injuries were reported The fourth rocket caused a fire near a packaging factory in Eshkol. Though it looked like the fire were turned off, it has spread. Firefighting planes and additional squads try to stop the flames. So far no injuries are reported. In the evening a salvo of mortar shells was launched at the Eshkol Regional Council area. No red alert in advance, but Explosions were heard. Security forces are inspecting the area. No reports of injuries or damages
July 2
Short after midnight two mortar shells exploded in open areas in the Eshkol Regional Council. No damage or injuries are reported. In the afternoon three mortar shells were fired at the same region. All exploded in open fields. No injuries or damage reported. Again four mortar shells were fired in the Eshkol Regional Council. No one was hurt, no damage reported. In the evening code red alarm was heard in the Ashkelon area. One rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome Missile Defense System, one exploded in open field. Red alert siren blared in the Eshkol and Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Councils. Minutes after 2 rockets landed in open areas around. Five rockets were launched on the Sdot Negev Regional Council, three were launched towards Ofakim. One was shot down by Iron Dome, the others hit open fields. No damages ore injuries were reported. A rocket was fired on Eshkol Regional Council. No damages, no injuries.

1 hour past midnight the colour red siren is heard in Sderot and Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council.One rocket exploded in Sderot. None was hurt, but structures got damaged.
