In 70 AD, on this very day, a Roman army under General Titus occupied and plundered Jerusalem.
Are we going to lose it again after regaining it in 1967 AD? That is about two thousand years that it took us to regain it. We've always had Jews living there, but had lost it to Rome. So many were carted away to be slaves in Rome, and many were killed.
Today it is a thriving and beautiful city, thanks to the endeavors of Israel. The world now has access to this amazing center of civilization. It's not in the same disrepair we found it to be in in 1967 when no one could visit. Is that what the world wants to happen, now?
What we need today is for the terrorists to stop their coveting, plundering and killing and decide to live in peace. They'll gain far more than a piece of someone else's land. They'll gain some respect. Isn't this implied in one of our ten commandments?
