3 Grad Missiles Hit Ashkelon
Beduin Killed
Two out of 60 rockets hit Ashkelon's Beach area, but one grad missile hit the center of Ashkelon on a library construction site where 12 Arab workers from the Galilee, which is the northern part of Israel, were working. One worker was from the Negev, a Beduin town of Aroer, and was killed. The building they had been working on suffered a hit on the top floor of the building that was still minus a roof. These Arabs had been working on the project for several years. 14 people were wounded, 5 in moderate-serious condition and the rest lightly wounded. Several people were in shock. All were taken to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
After the attack, Hamas call on Egyptian and Jordanians working in Israel to leave.
Sderot also took a hit from a rocket on a house. The people in the house survived but are in shock.
The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) declared the Gaza border area a closed military zone to all but local residents.
