Terrorists Were Warned
Israel Attacked Gaza
Saturday, Israel struck Gaza with airstrikes just before noon and killed at least 192 terrorists. 270 others were reported to be wounded. They hit dozens of security compounds. Israel has been warning both the Palestinian terrorists and the world that they would have to attack if the shelling from Gaza kept up, and it most certainly has been.
Immediately, the Palestinian terrorists retaliated and shot at least 30 rockets into Israel. Several of the rockets were Grad rockets, reaching deeper than in the past. A missile hit Netivot and killed an Israeli man and wounded four others. It had hit a house. In Sderot, everyone must have been in bomb shelters as the streets were empty except for a few tying to leave town.
Arabs surrounding the area are now furious and threatening Israel. Protests were heard in the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and other places. To them it's okay to attack Israel but not okay for Israel to fight back.
Ehud Barak, Israel's Defense Minister said that "there is a time for calm and there is a time for fighting, and now is the time for fighting. " He also said that the coming time"won't be easy" for southern Israel.
Gaza does have a hospital where injured were taken and Egypt allowed ambulances to drive out some of the wounded.
