New Revealed Facts About Hamas and ISIS Plans Against Israel

Nadene Goldfoot

You'd think that the Palestinian Gazans would have heard or at least felt the vibrations of the electric jackhammers drilling 20 feet below the surface in creating their tunnels leading out to Israel for attacks.  Inside them were found thousands of weapons like Russian anti-tank missiles, explosive devices, tranquilizers, handcuffs, syringes and ropes.  One can only imagine what they would be used for once a terrorist popped up in Israel.

They were planning attacks for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur this year; September 24, 25, 26 and the 3rd and 4th of October.  One remembers that Yom Kippur was the date of the October 6, 1973 war.  This was when hoping to win back territory lost to Israel during the third Arab-Israeli war, in 1967, Egyptian and Syrian forces launched a coordinated attack against Israel on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.  This is our day of fasting for 25 hours, even to be without water, and ask G-d's forgiveness of our sins.

Some tunnels were deep enough to hold vehicles.  They were reinforced with concrete made on site in workshops next to the tunnels.  They were command centers, armories filled with weapons, rocket-launcher hiding sites and  also acted as rooms to move and hid fighters during urban combat.

The tunnels were dug in parallel pairs with many shafts to the surface for many entry points.  In Gaza's center, the labyrinth allowed fighters to move unseen between homes and alleys.

Areas of Gazan cities were laced with hundreds of booby-traps.  Brigadier-General Mickey Edelstein, commander of the IDF Gaza Division, said that in a single street in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, the IDF found booby-traps in 19 out of 28 homes.

"On 1 August 2014, Hamas militants emerging from a tunnel attacked an Israeli patrol in Rafah killing 2 Israeli soldiers. Israel at first believed that the militants had abducted Lieutenant Hadar Goldin and were holding him, but Israel later determined that Goldin had also been killed."

Three IDF soldiers entered a building marked as a UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. When they entered they were killed by an explosive device.

Hamas's largest known military control center was in the basement of a hospital.  IDF had to engage in very limited ground combat because the whole area was booby-trapped with explosives, ambushes and civilians that were used as targets by Hamas.

The Palestinian terrorists planned these tunnels for years and wanted to use them to hold kidnapped IDF soldiers. said Brigadier-General Moti Almoz.  Hamas wanted strategic blows more than psychological ones from just kidnapping, though.  They were out for jihad.

Their budget spent 40% for war preparations. $10 million was spent on tunnels.  800 tons of concrete was used on them.   Hamas worked with Iran in this.  They worked towards a coordinated attack of about 15,000 Hamas terrorists trained in Gaza.  From 2012, they have doubled their rocket arsenal.  They had hundreds of missiles with the range to reach Jerusalem and Tel Aviv according to Brigadier-General Itai Brun.  In March, they had bigger missiles on their way coming from Iran and sourced in Syria.  Their ship was intercepted by the Israeli Navy special forces in the Red Sea.  Now do people understand why ships have to be searched by Israel?

A mass terror attack has been averted by Operation Protective Edge.  Though about 2,000 Palestinians were killed in the Operation, they were all warned to get out of the way before the actual Israeli attacks.  Due to their leadership, they died.  It was not the plan of Israel to have this happen.  One cannot begin to comprehend the extent of Hamas behavior.

"The tunnels into Israel were constructed using the expertise of the Rafah families who have specialized in digging tunnels into Egypt for commerce and smuggling."

Now tunnels have been discovered in Judea and Samaria.  Some were stocked with bomb-making materials.  when John Kerry suggested last week that Israel must agree to a ceasefire including the end of the operation to find and destroy tunnels, it seemed to be a preposterous idea.  He was so far behind the known facts.

Israeli author Amos Oz is a famous pacifist in Israel.  Even he condemned Hamas for creating warfare in a civilian population of Gaza.  Naftali Bennett is the leader of the Jewish Home party and Israel's Economy Minister.  He said that "without the ground operation, we would have woken up one day to an Israeli 9/11."  Thank goodness for miracles like Operation Protective Edge which allowed Israel to discover the workings of Hamas.

The Media is not helping the situation.  They cover anything that smacks of finding fault with Israel, no matter what is going on.  Since about 2,000 Palestinians died in the operation of which about 1,000 were Hamas people, Israel is blamed.  Especially hard on Israel has been the death of so many children.  People forget it was Hamas who made sure these Palestinians suffered death for this very reason, to blame Israel for attacking.  The media forgets all this and just blames Israel for defending itself, making out that they were the aggressors just to be aggressive for no reason.

"In 2013-2014, Egypt's military has destroyed most of the 1,200 smuggling tunnels which were used to smuggle food, weapons and other goods into Gaza."  Israel has known about these tunnels and the money the Palestinians were making from them, even becoming millionaires, but were taken by surprise at the immensity of their digs in using them in warfare against Israel.  .  Israel restricted the importation of construction materials into the strip, to prevent their use for military purposes by Hamas. As a result, concrete and other construction materials were some of the main goods smuggled through the tunnels "

Israel also seems to be the only country worth reporting about.. In people's minds, Jews can do no right, therefore anti-Semitism is running rampant.   No one wants to bring to light the Muslims killing Muslims in Iraq and Syria.  In Syria alone there have been 120,000 and 170,000 people killed including more than 11,000 children.  The violence has gone into Iraq with massacres of prisoners by jihadis from IS.  CNN finally showed a video of a long single line of Iraq soldiers who were prisoners of ISIS who were shot and killed, Nazi style, after the 50 days of war in Gaza.

Sydney, Australia had chants of demonstrators waving the black flag of ISIS chanting, "Palestine is Muslim land...Jew and Christian will not stand...From Lakemba to Gaza...You can never stop Islam.  Do those people realize that if one is not of the Salafist Muslims they can be killed?  Imams in Iraq who were Sunnis have been killed by ISIS.  The Iraqi soldiers were Sunnis.  Stop Islam?  Stop one group of Islam who are against all the rest.  Evidently they want a caliphate with very few people in it to rule.  They're killing just about everyone who crosses their paths.  How do the terrorists know they aren't next?

Terrorist Tunnels in Gaza Discovered

Nadene Goldfoot

Underground  Tunnel discovered dug from Gaza to Israel

In September of this year of 2013, Israel shipped in 1,244 truckloads of construction materials to Gaza so that they could build things they would like to have more of such as  homes, schools, hospitals, roads, and parks.  Instead, they have used the materials to build tunnels.  These tunnels are used to bring in weaponry to use against Israel.  Israel had been wary of allowing such shipments to go in, but from outside pressure, bent their decision and allowed it, and this is how they are repaid.

It was the Egyptian army who discovered the latest tunnel. It is used for smuggling weapons and attacking Israelis.  It went from the Gaza Strip to the Sinai Peninsula.  In another description it extends from the southern Gaza Strip to the Egyptian border.

Egyptian Al-Ahram newspaper reported that they arrested 72 people in Sinai for involvement in a bomb attack tat killed 2 and wounded 5.

Egypt and Israeli delegates are getting together to discuss this problem.  The Egyptian army has been working to destroy Islamist terrorist cells that have formed in the Sinai since the fall of Hosni Mubarak in 2011.  Militants from Gaza have been attacking Egyptian civilians and soldiers in the Sinai.

It was on October 10th that a large, very high and deep tunnel was discovered going from Gaza right into Israel.  Hamas claims they are responsible, and of course they are.  They are the leaders of Gaza.  "The Hamas spokesman said the tunnel had been dug in an effort to force Israel to release some of the thousands of Palestinians in Israeli jails. Former Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit was captured and brought into Gaza through such a tunnel in 2006."

We have already started releasing prisoners who are murders from jail as requested to meet the conditions of  the peace table with Abbas.  Finding this and with the way the Palestinians glorify their killers is a huge turn-off in continuing such a practice.  It was to be used to kidnap Jews and also  to allow terrorists into Israel to kill Israelis, for that's what they have done in the past.

Round Two: The Rachel Corrie is Coming

Nadene Goldfoot
The next Gaza flotilla ship, the Rachel Corrie, is supposed to come close to Gaza on Saturday morning. The ship's intention is to break Israel's naval blockade and is using the smoke screen of bringing goods for the Gazans. It's owned by the Free Gaza Movement and flies the Cambodian flag and is funded with money from former prime minister of Malaysia. All sorts of dignitaries are on board making up the 20.

Israel has told them that they don't want a confrontation just like they told the previous ships. If they sail to the port of Ashdod they will check it for weapons and deliver all the goods to Gaza and their representatives are welcome to go along through the crossings.

Of course the co-founder of this Free Gaza movement, Greta Berlin, has said they have no intention of ceding to Israel's request. Supposedly this ship has only 20 people on board. The ship is coming from Ireland. The US is now reacting by assisting Israel with other countries. No one wants to see a repeat of the attack from the Marmara which had hundreds of activists sponsored by an Islamic aid group from Turkey called "the Foundation for Human Rights and Freedom and Humanitarian Relief. This group is known by its Turkish acronym IHH and they have ties with Hamas, a terrorist group who have taken over Gaza.

In the meantime, no one in the world is helping to free the southern Israeli citizens from the Gazan terrorists shooting rockets into their back yards. A week before the Gaza flotilla came into view, a rocket was shot into Israel. Another fell right after the flotilla was boarded. Thursday night saw rockets fired at the city of Ashkelon again, Portland's sister city. A Kassam rocket exploded later near a kibbutz in the Sha'ar Hanegev region. Israel fired back and hit a group of Islamic Jihad terrorists as they were working on firing more rockets. They killed three of them. These rocket attacks from Gaza have increased since the beginning of the year. Israel's IDF then bombs weapons factories or tunnels under the Egyptian boarder. That's why they haven't let cement go into Gaza. It's used for these things. The war has not stopped; it has just slowed down a little. Now Israel is finding that trying to protect yourself from attacks is not understood or even popular among our freedom loving peers.

Over 100 Rockets Hit Israel Since January 18, 2009

Today: Shabbat: 7 Rockets Hit
PS Sunday March 1, 2009 9:00am
Nadene Goldfoot
Hamas has fired over 100 rockets into Israel since January 18th, when we pulled out of Gaza. Today, which was Shabbat in Israel, 7 rockets hit Israel in the Ashkelon City area. One hit a school, but being Shabbat, no one was there. For tomorrow, it's a different story.
Egypt has been mediating but has gotten nowhere with Hamas.

In reply, Israel has held air strikes on their tunnels which bring weapons to them.
3/1/09 Billions of dollars have been pledged to rebuild the Gaza Strip of which Washington has pledged $900 million dollars. Arab countries in the past pledge but don't come through as in the U.N. pledges, making America paying the most.

In the meantime, the terrorists will not return one Israeli soldier held in captivity after being kidnapped which Israel wants back.

It's very nice of us to be so willing to rebuild Gaza, but why when they continue to fire rockets into Israel? Why not make it contingent on a real cease-fire for once?

Israel is very angry at over about 110 rockets falling into its land. Who is going to rebuild Ashkelon's school? USA hasn't offered that help. There will be a reprisal against all the rocket firing again, as the terrorists just don't get it. Israeli patience is waning.

Audacity of Hamas

Nadene Goldfoot
On Sunday (about 12 hours ago our time) the terrorists fired rockets into Israel, probably in Sderot, killing two soldiers and one civilian. The rockets landed near a kindergarten.

Hamas's response was, "Israel is using false pretexts to increase their aggression against Gaza!"
Israel hasn't responded yet but have a few ideas of what to do on the table. One is to harm Hamas leaders and use airstrikes.

In the meantime, the USA army engineers are setting up radar to find tunnels from terrorists that are arming the terrorists.

Palestinians: Alien Mind-Set

Continued interview of Israeli soldiers by Tamar Boussi of Jerusalem

EVERY SOLDIER I HAVE TALKED TO HAS USED THE WORD "SCARED" USUALLY MORE THEN ONCE, WHAT WERE THE MOST FRIGHTENING THINGS FOR You?

First every house or building is wired, they wire their own houses, the schools that their own children attend, hospitals, the mindset is so alien to us that we have to keep reminding ourselves of the danger in every step we take. They would rather have a family of 8 blown up in their own house than 8 different Arabs blown up in different places and if it is a school full of kids all the better, as they understand that the publicity is good for them. They think that if they kill Israelis that’s good and if a lot of Arabs die that is even better, as it is blamed on the Israelis and that is the publicity they want, women and children are the best publicity.

The second most frightening thing, maybe even the first is the tunnels. Gaza is a mass of tunnels everywhere, some of these tunnels are big enough to walk in standing up with electricity and other necessities. They use them for everything; not just to smuggle other terrorists, money, weapons and what ever else they want. They run from house to house as well, the top leaders are in comfortable tunnels under the hospital, they know we won’t bomb the hospital so they are safe. The other use of tunnels is a major goal they have of kidnapping soldiers, THAT is very scary. If you are walking anywhere near any kind of cover, a hand might reach out and grab a leg and try to drag you into the bush or a camouflaged tunnel. We sleep on the floor of vacant houses, which we have searched, while we sleep a floor tile will move and a hand reach out to grab an arm, a leg or whatever and drag you under the house into a tunnel. Thank G-d they did not succeed, only because we learned from past incidents.

Getting into their heads is hard and frightening. They don’t mind how many of them die, while for us one soldier is too many. Every life is precious, even theirs—what can anyone do?

WHAT DO YOU FEEL HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED? We will have failed if we leave without Gilad Shalit. No way we can do that! We don’t want to go home until we are finished. This ceasefire was political, not practical. My hope is when their leaders stick their heads out of the tunnels they are hiding in. They will be so shocked by what they see, they will not want to attack Israel again. They haven’t seen the devastation. Everywhere destroyed grey concrete buildings surrounded by rubble covered with a grey-black smoke.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE PEOPLE OF GAZA FEEL NOW THAT THERE IS QUIET:
Quiet is the right word because it is not over –the people really do hate us, they don’t know anything good about us, only that they are suffering, even though some of them know Hamas is the problem, most don’t think that way. I would say 99% they hate us. Hamas will get billions from the international community and most of it will go to rearm themselves and to continue to educate their children, not be equipped to make a life for themselves but to hate us. Their cynical use of their children is the long run problem.
