Terrorist's Gruesome Slaughter in Wet Bank-64 Attacks

Nadene Goldfoot
Today an Arab terrorist, probably a member of Fatah, went into Bat Ayin in the Gush Etzion part of the West Bank and struck a 13 year old Israeli boy, Shlomo Nativ, over the head with an axe, killing him. The Iranian backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Imad Mughniyeh Group claimed responsibility.

Then he turned towards a 7 year old boy and hit him on the head with the axe. He was actually saved by a passerby, Avinoam, who fought the attacker and took the axe from him. The killer tried to stab Avinoam, who kicked him. The killer raised the axe over Avinoam, trying to kill him, too, but Avinoam caught his hand and grabbed the axe. The killer escaped and Israeli security forces searched for him. Everyone in the area had to remain indoors as they searched.

This was a very bloody attack on innocent children. If Avinoam hadn't come along, the 7 year old would have also been killed. I wonder how many Americans would have faced a crazed killer with an axe. Thank goodness, and sadly, most all Israelis have been trained in self defense in the army.

This was not the first attack on Jews in the West Bank. From January 1st to February 28th of this year there have been 64 terrorist attacks. There was a ceasefire on January 18th. Since then, 154 rockets and mortars have been continually fired at Israel by terrorist groups in Gaza.
